(photo by Wassayos Ngamkham)Police have wrapped up their investigation into the alleged premeditated murder of construction tycoon Chuwong Sae Tang, and recommended indictment against retired senior police officer Banyin Tangpakorn, who is the only suspect in the case. The 4,000-page case report was forwarded to public prosecutors at the Ratchada Criminal Court, Pol Col Jirapob Puridet, chief of Crime Suppression Division’s subdivision 1, said on Tuesday. Chuwong was found dead in Pol Lt Col Banyin's Lexus sport utility vehicle after it struck a roadside tree in Prawet district of Bangkok, on June 26 last year. Pol Col Jirapob said the statute of limitations for that case had expired but the incident was mentioned in Chuwong’s case file.
